Truck Training & Licensing
SDA Perth was born out of a personal frustration. Founder Sumit arrived in Perth like so many before him — licence in hand from back home, full of confidence, yet suddenly lost on unfamiliar roads, unfamiliar rules, and an unfamiliar testing system. He found that most driving schools weren't designed for people like him — or for nervous beginners, or for women who wanted to feel truly safe with their instructor. So he built one that was. Today, SDA Perth is one of the most trusted driving academies in Western Australia — with over 2,800 students who've passed their test, built real skills, and gained something no test can measure: the freedom to go wherever life takes them.

Sumit — Instructor, Founder, Fellow Driver.
Sumit moved to Perth with driving experience, a valid overseas licence, and confidence that evaporated the moment he sat in an Australian driving test. He passed eventually — but not before experiencing first-hand how inadequate most driving school experiences were for migrants, nervous learners, and anyone who didn't fit the textbook student mould. He spent years refining a teaching method that meets students where they are — emotionally and technically. Today, every instructor at SDA Perth is trained in his patient, structured, confidence-first approach.
